Stereotype works using one copy of the 'Stereotype Sender' on one laptop and one copy of the 'Stereotype Receiver' on any receiving laptop (there can be more than one Receiver connected to one Sender) - so, to operate you need at least one Sender and one Receiver.

The licence to use the Sender and Receiver can be bought and owned separately. An individual licence entitles you to install the software on one machine. If it is envisaged that Stereotype will be installed on several machines, a site licence may be appropriate.

Examples:

• Freelance Electronic note-taker providing both laptops - one Single Sender's and one Single Receiver's Licence.
• Academic Institutions (student support) - Sender's Site Licence but no Receiver (Single Receiver Licence is purchased by individual students).
• Business user 'one to one' - one Single Sender's and one Single Receiver's Licence.

An individual licence entitles the user to install the Training Resources software on to one machine. If it is envisaged that the Training Resources will be installed on several machines, a site licence may be appropriate.
